Antonio Saviano – Technical Director, Lakewood Ranch Chargers

Antonio Saviano took on the role of Technical Director at the Lakewood Ranch Campus in December 2019 where he has been a coach since 2013. Incredibly passionate about the sport and the opportunities it has brought to not only himself but many of his former players, Antonio is excited to be part of the Chargers.


Prior to this role, Antonio was the Director of Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch where he managed the facility and its 22 multi-use fields.  At the same time, he was actively involved in the LWR Chargers Soccer Club helping to grow the program, attract new coaches, and assist in the program’s day-to-day operations.

Before moving to Florida, Antonio Saviano spent over 15 years with the Cape Fear Soccer Club in North Carolina where he served as both a coach and the Director of Coaching before becoming the Executive Director.

Antonio is the founder of Soccerkix, Scuola Calcio, Italian Premier Soccer School, and Soccerkix Academy. He is also a freelance writer for Soccer Coaching Magazine and the author of several books on youth soccer development.

A lifelong soccer player who played professionally in Italy, Antonio has spent years coaching youth soccer and can often be found out on the field coaching and watching his 5 and 13-year-old children play for the Lakewood Ranch Chargers Soccer Club.
