The Lakewood Ranch Chargers SC Recreation program is one of the fastest growing recreational programs in Lakewood Ranch. Our volunteer based program provides a fun and safe environment for children of all experience levels ages 4 and up to enjoy the beautiful game of soccer.

Our Recreation soccer program is not about winning! The emphasis is on participation, learning and acquiring life skills that will go a long way on and off the pitch. Providing great value, with fields conveniently located at the beautiful Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch our club has a program that is ideal for your child regardless of their level of play.

The LWR Chargers SC recreation soccer program consists of two seasons - Fall and Spring. 

Fall Season: Begins late August and will run for approximately 8 weeks.

Spring Season: Begins in late February and will run for approximately 8 weeks. 

Practices are usually on Mondays or Wednesdays and games are played on Saturdays.

The Lakewood Ranch Chargers SC recreational soccer programs provide children 4U thru 13U (SPRING 2024 players born in 2020 through 2011) the opportunity to have fun as they play and learn the game of soccer. Children and teenagers in our Recreational program will gain a better understanding of the game of soccer, and develop dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending skills. They will also create new relationships, and become part of a community club. All teams are coached by volunteer coaches who give their time to help the community’s youth to have fun and learn. Practices are normally on Mondays or Wednesdays.

Program Cost for entire SPRING 2024 season:

• Age group Coed: U4-U7: $155 (includes 2-jerseys, 1-shorts, 1-pair of socks)
• Age group Coed: U8-U13: $165 (includes 2-jerseys, 1-shorts, 1-pair of socks)

This program is ONLY open to our current recreational players.

The Advanced Development Program (ADP) is ONLY open to our current recreational soccer players. 

The LWR Chargers SC Advanced Development Program (ADP) is designed to challenge players to grow technically, tactically, and mentally. We foster a very competitive environment within training to allow players to be challenged and raise their level of technical awareness and it is designed to challenge players to grow technically, tactically, and mentally. 

Within the ADP the coaches focus on building the foundation into the players through the Technical Training and prepare the players for the next level. The ADP is geared towards players who are committed to soccer and are looking to be challenged.

Open to players born in 2018 - 2013
Cost: $100 (includes a t-shirt)
Dates: Thursdays evening starting on March 14. 
Time: 6PM - 7PM
