The Chargers Soccer Club Men's Premier team concluded their summer games and training with a friendly match vs. the Tampa Bay Rowdies at AL Lang Stadium on Tuesday, July 21.

The Chargers Men's Premier team is comprised of former Chargers Development Academy and Club players who participated in a comprehensive 10 game CSLUSA league summer schedule, along with three nights a week of training and friendly matches with the Tampa Bay Rowdies reserve team.

Chargers players used this summer program to continue their soccer development as they prepare to return to their college teams for the upcoming fall collegiate soccer season

Former youth Chargers players included: Logan Jones (College of William & Mary), Jake Molony (Lee University), Eric Mubang (Boston University), Jordan Lue ( UCF), Atsou Ayah (USF), Kevin Pahl (Furman University), Tony Alavarez (Eckerd College), Wesley Baquero (HCC), Ian Gutierrez (UF), along with two new Tampa Chargers coaches, Shawn Meek and Raphael Nosiomento.

The Chargers team also included many other collegiate and senior players from the Tampa Bay area!

The Chargers team was coached and trained by Phil Bennett, Sammy Castelanos, Roland Moldovan Gustavo Castillo, Mauricio Pesaresi and Jim DiNobile.

This Chargers first year program is already making plans for next summer 2016 to provide the opportunity for our players to continue their soccer development and reach their goals to be their best!

The Chargers implemented this program to meet its commitment to provide Club vertical integration from youth to professional player development!
