TARSA Rec Program (11U-19U)
TARSA RECREATIONAL PROGRAM
Our TARSA Recreational Program is for boys and girls between the ages of 11U (Born in 2010) to 19U (born in 2002). The TARSA Recreational teams participate in the Tampa Area Recreational Scheduling Association (TARSA). This league is a scheduling body that is comprised of many local clubs and involves minimal travel within the Tampa Bay area. - 11/12U teams will train at New Tampa Community Park and will play their home games at Benito Middle School.
- 13U thru 19U teams will train and play their home games at New Tampa Community Park, 17302 Commerce Park Blvd, Tampa, FL 33647.
- Match Formats:
COED TEAMS- 12U (2010-2009) 9 vs 9 with Goalkeepers
- 14U (2008-2007) 11 vs 11 with Goalkeeper
- 16U (2006-2005) 11 vs 11 with Goalkeeper
- 19u (2004-2003-2002) 11 vs 11 with Goalkeepers
GIRLS TEAMS
- 12U (2010-2009) 9 vs 9 with Goalkeepers
- 15U (2008-2007-2006) 11 vs 11 with Goalkeeper
- HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION (2005-2004-2003-2002) 9 vs 9 with Goalkeeper
Teams are coached by volunteer coaches under the supervision of the Recreational Program Technical Director.

TARSA Recreational Program
- 11U – 19U - $250 (Full Nike Uniform included)
LATE REGISTRATION: After September 27th, 2020 at 11:59pm - Additional Fee $25.00
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEE?
- 16 Weeks Training Season
- Two training sessions per week
- Kid-Safe Program - Background check for all coaches/technical and admin staff
- Full Nike uniform – home jersey, training/away t-shirt, shorts, and socks
- FYSA (Florida Youth Soccer Association) Player Registration Fee
- “TARSA End of the Season Tournament (3 weeks)” - Optional
- $100 team credit towards one tournament participation
- Referee Fees
- End of the Year Jamboree and Awards
- Club Overhead Costs (fields maintenance, equipment, lights, administrative expenses, website)
- Proactive and visible Technical Director and Technical Staff
Players are responsible for:
- Shin guards
- Soccer cleats
- Soccer ball
- 11U/12U - Size 4
- 13U/14U and up - Size 5
WHAT IS PLAYER EVALUATION DAY?
Player evaluations are not tryouts, but an identification process to ensure that all teams are properly balanced and are mandatory for all age groups 11/12U through 19U. As a recreational program for players of all skill levels, this is an effort to ensure a more enjoyable experience to all.
WHEN/WHERE ARE THE GAMES AND PRACTICES?
(DATES AND TIMES SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
- Player evaluation day October 1st, 2020
- Practice will begin October 12th, 2020
- All games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays Beginning October 31st, 2020 – 16 weeks season including an “End of the Season Tournament”
- Practices and home games will be held at the New Tampa Community Park, 17302 Commerce Park Blvd, Tampa, FL 33647.
- 11/12U teams will train at New Tampa Community Park and will play their home games at Benito Middle School.
@ For these practice days, you have the option to choose your preference during the online registration process.

CAN I MAKE A SPECIAL REQUEST?
Special requests for Coach and practice nights are available during the registration process. These requests must be placed in the player’s GotSoccer account during registration. This special request would be considered if requested before deadline (09/27/20).
Special requests via e-mail or via phone call will not be accepted.
Special requests for a particular coach or practice nights are not a guarantee.
A $50.00 fee (in addition to the club’s standard refund policy) will be kept if a member decides to not participate when a special request is not granted. (This will only be allowed if the request is submitted before the deadline).
REFUND POLICY
Chargers S.C. reserves the right to deny any partial or full registration fees once registration and payment has been completed (payment is due at time of registration).
However, in cases of reasonable documented excuse (illness, severe injury, family relocation, etc.) filed BEFORE September 27th, 2020 a partial refund may be granted.
