Chargers Soccer Club is proud to continue serving the New Tampa Area since the mid-1990s. Chargers S.C. welcomes our community families to another exciting recreational soccer season. Our In-House Program season runs from November to February and the TARSA Recreational Program from October to March.
GENERAL RECREATIONAL PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY
The primary goal of the Chargers S.C. Recreational Soccer Program is not about winning, but to offer every player the opportunity to enjoy the game in a fun learning environment while honing new skills. Our recreational soccer program is for boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 18.
The Fall Rec Program consists of 2 separate programs (based on age group).

Chargers S.C. do not own the fields on which we train and play. We use, help maintain and manage the City of Tampa and Hillsborough County School District facilities. In order to maintain good working relationships with the field owners, we ask that all players, parents, and spectators follow all county and city ordinances in effect. This includes the prohibition of alcoholic beverages and animals on the park grounds and smoking inside the playing field fence.
If you love the sport this is a great opportunity for you to continue to learn and grow your overall understanding of this beautiful game while earn some extra money. Chargers SC is looking to add young referees that meet our high standards. If you are interested in becoming a club referee, please visit the Florida Soccer Referee link http://www.flsrc.org/. FLSR is the governing body for Florida Referees, and they administer the class required to become certified with the U.S. Soccer Federation, the national governing body for all referees in the United States. When you go to http://www.flsrc.org/
After you finish processing your certification, please contact Maggie at Maggie@ChargersSoccer.com. All newly trained referees always start in our recreational soccer program, there, they gain their experience and increase their confidence. When we think that you are ready to move onto the next level (competitive soccer), we will speak to you and assign you games at the level via GotSport.
